Angel & Devil

Good & bad; Right & wrong; like heads & tails are two sides of the same coin.

Angel & Devil

Duality in nature is its spirit, you can’t get good without the bad, light without darkness, wave without particle. This poem brings to forth how every angel had a demon to conquer. Once you find and fight your inner demons, you get real victory. It’s all within the depths of mind, body and soul.

For every angel

There is a devil

Equally smart yet dangerous

Like Ram had Raavan

Pandavas had Kauravas

Even light has dark…

The saga keeps rolling

Burning, and searching

Keeping us whole

In spirit and soul.

Find what burns you

And burn in its service

Allowing it consume you

Like the devil would devour you

When you do that

And you feel safe in the depths

Of your own soul

Unperturbed by the fear of the devil

Devil would lose its control over you

Cede control of your mind, body, and soul

You will then destroy the devil inside you

And inspire few more to do the same

Restoring the balance

That our heart knows

And longs for

But is too timid to seek

as its supposed to bleed…

Don’t hold it

Don’t tape it

Don’t keep it

To not burn the candle

When there is darkness

And to go to sleep instead

That is the death as we know it.

Take it all in

Let the inside out

Rest, recharge, refuel

But burn till your last breath

Go deep within

Unafraid to be lost in your depths

For those who dare to lose

Are the ones who find

The pearl in the belly of the devil.

Seek forever, gently walking in pursuit

Gradually perfecting the art

Breathing and connecting

The mind and the body

Beyond their duality

Following your curiosity

Peeling layer by layer

Dissolving the knots

Unhinged and unblocked

Go where your curiosity takes you

Let it fully transform you…
